Baby octopus in tomato sauce

Ingredients

600g baby octopus
800g canned whole peeled tomatoes
60g black olives
30g capers
marjoram, to taste
extra virgin olive oil, as needed
1 clove of garlic
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste

Method

Crush the tomatoes with a fork.

Take a wide skillet, add a little extra virgin olive oil, the tomatoes, and the whole garlic clove and cook for a few minutes.

Then add the baby octopus and cook for 20 minutes. Add capers, olives, and marjoram.

Salt and cook for another 20 minutes.

Check the baby octopus by testing with a fork. If they are tender, then the dish is ready. If not, then cook for a few more minutes.
