Ingredients
3 (400g) cans of whole peeled tomatoes
2 green onions, chopped
1/2 cup chopped red onion
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped
1/3 cup fresh cilantro
1 large clove of garlic, chopped
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
salt and pepper to taste
Method
Combine all ingredients in a food processor until they are finely chopped.
Serve the salsa with tortilla chips. Store in refrigerator for up to 1 week.
