Ingredients
275g egg fettuccine
225g canned chopped tomatoes
75g fresh pure pork sausages
25g butter
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 onion
a pinch of marjoram
salt and pepper, to taste
Method
Melt the butter in a skillet. Add very finely chopped onion and the crumbled skinned sausage meat.
Mix well and cook over medium heat. After ten minutes, add the chopped tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper and cook for another ten minutes.
In the meantime, boil the fettuccine in plenty of salted boiling water till al dente and drain. Toss the fettuccine into the sausage and tomato sauce in the skillet. Mix well for a minute over the heat so the sauce coats all the pasta. Divide into portions
Drizzle the balsamic vinegar on each plate. Serve immediately, piping hot.
